I feel kinda bad because I listen to your stuff but don't usually drop a review ;-; I'm sorry!

This song is incredible! So intense, so ominous! Boss phase music right here <3 <3 The instrument choice was fantastic.

Idk what else to say, great job!

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Don't feel bad, I often do the same! I'm glad you still find the time to listen to my stuff <3

Wow, thanks for all the nice words! :O
I had a lot of fun with making this, as it's a bit different from my "usual style" (if I have one). I try to always challenge myself with the NGADM ^____^

Beautiful track <3 Mesmerizing ^^

Quarl responds:

Thank you LN :D :D

Lol this song is about to have more views than the game itself 😂

Incredible work as always! You did an awesome job with the Eggtopia soundtrack <3

TeraVex responds:

Thank you!!!! I know I am only a lil sad about the lower viewership but I still think that the game will forever be a success in my heart. Thanks for letting me have fun with the OST!

GundorSound responds:

Thank you! I love hearing that, makes me want to play it myself

Wow, this has only gotten 1 review since 2013?! But it's so good ><

This was the first song I favorited on this account in 2013, and is still one of my top favs. I love the energy from the chippy pluck and the pumping kick <3

Hikari responds:

!!! Thats super flattering !!!

ps.
holy crap

Delicious track! Hey, for the two waaawww synths, one's stereo panned and one's more mono, is that the same synth with an automated stereo expander, or did you have two different synths alternating, one wide and one not?

Great work as always Quarl!

Quarl responds:

Lol, it's not unusual for me to program several lead synths that all play off of each other. It's a tech I developed in GarageBand circa 2006 to get around that programs lack of flexibility. Sometimes I can patch a certain type of synth faster than I can program something else to do the same thing. Malstrom is my go to ride or die quick synth. Granted, the deeper reese synth is going to be (off the top of my head) a Thor 3xosc attached to a scream distortion unit followed by a stand alone filter... ignore the fact that the Thor has three or four built in filters and probably doesn't need the extra unit. I like automating the knobs on the stand alone filter unit for some strange senior reason that I can't explain. Id take some screenshots but I'm currently on a Walmart tablet :D

Oh, one more thing. Stick experimental automation lanes on everything. I pan stuff slightly as the track goes on to make room for things. I automate the bpm from the transport panel. Automate a synthesizer to slowly fade out via the volume knob? NO, AUTOMATE EACH OSCILATOR TO LOWER AT SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT TIME SEQUENCES BECAUSE WHY NOT??

Heeeee the luigi samples <3

I love the drop at 0:57. The piano is so gooood! This is a really energetic track! Great work Quarl :3

Quarl responds:
