This is pretty sick, but it takes forever for the song to really get extreme. The intro is like two minutes long. Daaaang >.<

Cacola responds:

That's because the song was originally going to be a lot longer, but I ran out of ideas.

Oh man, I really like this song :D

Back-From-Purgatory responds:

Glad you like it.

Woa geez, this is awesome!

AeronMusic responds:

Thanks man! (:

I really like the piano chords!

oswald responds:

Thanks! I'll send you a midi of it if you want.

Oh man, the synths are really good on this one!

oswald responds:

I put a lot of work into the synths so it could stand out from the other songs that I made previous to this one. Looks like it was worth it!

Thanks man!

This song is just astonishing. You and Tera both got better than me :( I'm still facing the largest writers block ever.

Cacola responds:

I always thought you were better at me then most things (Especially structure and melody) and made overall better music. (Seriously, Everything Falls is better then anything I've ever made)
Don't worry dude, for me, the worse the writers block is, the better you get after you've broken it, so odds are you'll be even more awesome after you've gotten through it!
Don't get discouraged, and if you need help to break your writers block, here are some things that help me:
Try making music in a genre you've never done before. (This helped when I made Whath)
Do a collab with someone. (Helped me when I made Skirmish)
Relax, take a break, and stop thinking about it, and after a while, get on FL Studio when you think you're ready to come back.
Hope these help!

This song took like a minute to get fired up, and then the tempo frequently changes. The snare you used should have been swapped with a shorter sample. It gets a bit repetitive, like the kick. You should never use a sub bass on its own. If you do that, people with low-quality speakers can't hear it. When the beat drops, it sounds pretty cool, but then it just loops a few times and ends.

oswald responds:

The song taking a minute to get fired up was intentional, but if you guys don't like it, I'll shorten it up.

The tempo never changed (It stays at a consistent 127 BPM throughout the entire song). If by that you mean the songs pacing is strange, that was also intentional, but again, I'll change it if necessary.

The kick/snare sample problem is due to me deciding to no longer use pirated samples and such.
Seamless's Kick/Snare samples were the only ones that I could find within FL Studio that fitted into the song in the way I desired. I'll go looking for some free sample packs later.

That actually wasn't a sub-bass, it just sounded like one because (I believe) the frequency knob automation cuts off the higher frequencies at first and slowly introduces them as the build up to the drop progresses. That's probably what lead you to believe that was a sub-bass. (There's only one bass in the entire song.) Either way, I removed the frequency automation and added a cutoff effect, which sounds much better.

The looping problem is temporary so need to worry about that!

Thanks for the review man!

(Oh and sorry for the wall of text)

Remix? More like "sped up midi + annoyingly loud samples placed on top".

Bobblob responds:

Well, this was an old music file, so let me delete it :P

Ooh, this is good! I really like it! Eyes is a bit too intense though.

Gianni responds:

I'll TAKE it!

A plus plus plus plus plus plus PLUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS :D

This is too fantastic.

Cacola responds:

Glad to know you enjoyed it!
I can't wait for the rest of your album! :D

I make games and music sometimes
