[Classic Style War]

The song is too quiet and distant, which ruins everything. The melody is fairly decent. Sounds like the background music to an old warcraft game, only with crappy midi instruments.

This song is too quiet and distant. Well as stated before you clearly have either hearing issues or your sound system is faulty.

Secondly, MIDI instruments? These instruments are apart of an orchestra VST who's samples are taken from actual instruments. This clearly shows that you have no idea what you are talking about.

A helpful review would be such as "the french horns where out of place and should be replaced with bassons" or "I think an up/down bow would be better for the bass". Your review is vague at most and unhelpful.

Just because I review other projects with great critism does not mean that you can respond in an unfair manner. But this is all up to point of view and interpritation.

This piece is so beautiful. That reverse piano effect is to die for. I've always wanted to compose a piece with that effect, but I could never get it right. But you certainly did. Excellent work! I'm probably going to be falling asleep to this song for the next few weeks haha.

I'm glad that you too liked the effect; I was a bit worried at first, but you and a few others erased all of my doubts.

This is an amazing blend of music! The more cinematic percussion sounds so intense, but the melody still keeps that classic mellow "LSD" feel. I love it so much!

Thanks dude, I'm glad to hear that you like this loop. After making so many short and silly loops, I've kinda got the hang of making them seemless, unless I'm doing something weird :p

Yeah, as this was only a short test project, I just did my classic LSD thing with the melodies, as they're not really the main focus of the track anyway. I've got to say I'm really loving Stormdrum 3 so far! I've been lacking a good percussion library for so long now, and it feels great to finally have one. I didn't realize until I used it how big a difference there was in quality between a library such as this, and the stuff you get for less money. The biggest difference, is the amount of power I was easily able to get out of this without the track beginning to clip.

Good to hear that ya like the subtle atmosphere, as that is essentially what makes this track. I've been a bit busy lately, but I have a few things I'm working a bit on, as well as several plans for later. As always, I'll keep making stuff :)
