Hey everyone! If you weren't already following @Teravex, do it now! He's just released his highly anticipated album "Alexandrite", and it's the best thing ever! It's an incredible blend of jazz, electronic, and more! Give it a listen, and buy the album if you enjoy it! He's put a huge amount of effort into it, so be sure to support him!

Songwriter/Producer TeraVex's official followup to 2019's "Topaz." Alexandrite aims to create a realm in which multiple emotions themes, and musical styles are experienced. The album reflects on a past life experience through reflection and self improvement. Change is a constant element of the album, giving a platform to vibe in various ways. The styles of Citypop, Mo-Town, and Synthpop and artists like Gorillaz and Stevie Wonder are heavy influences of the sound of this album.

Howdy! I've been pretty productive this week and thought I'd share with you!

I've been making small updates to my fan game 'Animal Crossing: Collect!' over the last two weeks, including adding scoreboards, medals, and support for mobile. I'm still working on getting house customization functional, as well as adding more features to the shop and some minigames! I'd love to hear any suggestions for the game, regardless if you're an animal crossing fan or not!

New Music

I actually made this today with a spontaneous burst of inspiration at like 1AM. A delicious ambient house track, I hope you enjoy it! :D

There's also an audio visualizer if you'd prefer to watch something while you listen :)

===

I also released this song yesterday, which was an old-ish WIP that I got bored with and just tacked an ambient breakdown onto. Still a good listen though.

How are you doing?

p.s.

Speaking of animal crossing, anybody playing the one for the switch? We can finally send letters and gifts to people in other towns, which is the one feature I've always wanted from animal crossing. Does anyone want to be New Horizons pen pals? PM me and we'll swap codes :)

Also, if you're playing COD Warzone what's your COD/blizzard ID? I've been playing on PC and I'm loving it so far. I think it's odd that they mix keyboard and controller players together but I certainly am not complaining lol.

Hey everyone! I just wrapped up my latest song, I would really appreciate your feedback!

I think I'm off to a good start this year, we'll see how things pan out.

Also, if you haven't already heard it, my friend @cacola released a new mashup album! I've described it as "liquid 2000s nostalgia", I really think you'll enjoy it! If not, then check out her other stuff. She's an incredible music producer!

That's all I've got for you right now. How are you all doing?

Happy Holidays!

It feels like the year passed me by, I didn't make as many memories this year. But when I look back, it was a great year for my music! I improved on my craft and dipped my fingies into even more pies. I've compiled my favorite tracks of the last year into my second annual mixtape! Give it a listen!

Compare it with my 2018 mixtape to hear how much I've changed :) What are some of your favorites? Please let me know!

Okay, I'm outta here, have a great rest of your year!

Current Status: OPEN

(This is for my commission link, hello!)

It's been way too long since I've produced for a video game or animation, which is something I've really wanted to do a lot of ever since I started making music. I've produced for a few games, and some people have used songs I've made in their animations, which is dope! So I'm just making this post so I can have a location to display my capabilities and availability.

Genres

Dubstep | House | Trap | Drum n Bass | Electronic | Lo-fi | Metal | Rock | Indie | Orchestral/Cinematic | Chiptune/Video Game | Ambient | And probably more but I'm getting tired of finding links lol. There are a lot of gems in my library, as well as under my second alias @cx330

PREVIOUS WORK

Games

Wreck (2013, lmao)

Reclaimers: 2030 (2014, OST)

Jak and Lev: The Game (2015, OST)

Kingdoms of GridWorld (2015, Unreleased)

As you can see, I stopped getting approached for projects pretty much as soon as I got good at making music xD

Pricing for custom music can be negotiated based on the size of the project. For example, a youtube intro song would cost less than a game OST. However, you are allowed to use any of my already existing music for FREE with credit :)

Hey all! Hope you enjoyed your summer. Frankly, I'm ready for autumn!

Monkey Ball Blast V0.2 is out!

Finally fixed the level editor. Now when you press save it will prompt you to download a json file. I don't think this works on mobile yet but PC users can now save and share levels!

My challenge for you: Make the best level you can and share it with me! I will be putting my favorite levels into the game officially!

New Music!

I got kicked out of the NGADM and NGAUC, which sucks because I had the most creative energy I've had in a good minute, and I was excited to show off how I've improved, but what can you do huh. Here are two tracks I've made in the last month. I feel like both of them got slept on because they sound really good. I'd love some feedback!

Have a great week everyone!

p.s. Anyone play VR, BFV or BO4 on PC? I need some buddies :)

Hello everyone! I just wanted to say thank you for 500 followers! It's been 6 years since I first downloaded FL Studio and started tinkering. I've improved so much since then, and I'm thankful for everyone who gave me feedback and helped me along the way! Here's to another 6 years!

Updates:

  • I've entered both the NGADM and the NGAUC. I just finished and submitted my entry for the NGAUC knockout round! You can listen to it here.

Thanks for the feature, by the way! I was really proud of this piece because I made all of the synths and basses in serum myself! It's not the first time I've done this, but it definitely sounds the nicest!

USE ME

If you need music for a game, animation or anything, please feel free to hit me up if my sound fits your needs. You can get permission to use my older releases, or I can create custom music just for you! I've really wanted to get back into producing for games/videos, and I finally think I've hit the quality needed to produce something of appropriate quality. Thanks!

If you haven't seen it already, I've created a second alias for ambient/vaporwave stuff. Can we get it to 200 followers? I'd really appreciate it!

0.0.5 Update! Finally fixed the level save and load function. Now you can save your canvas and load it (must be a host to load level data)! No more losing progress, yayy! I'm currently trying to complete a host migration system so as long as a peer is connected, a room will remain persistent. This has proved to be tricky, and could take some time. Anyhoo, enjoy the new features! Note: Tiles might disappear shortly after saving a file. Don't worry, they'll pop back into existence.

Planned features:

  • Video recording for timelapses/problem reporting
  • Host Migration
  • Templates when hosting new canvas
  • Level sharing

Hey everyone! Boy has it been a productive weekend for me. Yesterday I released a new multiplayer game and pushed two updates with improvements over the course of the day. It's a drawing game called PIXLR, where you can draw and chat with other people! I've been getting a lot of great feedback on how to improve it, so keep it coming! However, keep in mind that it uses a peer to peer connection system, so when the host quits, everyone is disconnected. I'm planning on hosting the main canvas on a remote server in the future, but for now I'm just hosting it on my computer. I'm working on a save and load system for canvases as you read this, but for now feel free to take snapshots of your work in-game. Anyhow, I really hope you'll stop by and leave your mark!

I just dropped a new rock track yesterday! I've been playing my guitar a lot lately; it's a lot of fun!

Also, my side alias @cx330 recently had a new release on CellDeathTapes! This was my first physical release ever, going retro with beautiful cassettes. It's really beautiful ambient stuff, you should check it out!

Hey everyone! I've just pushed the newest build of MBB that I've been working on all week. I've added some neat new features, such as the record button to record and save clips of your gameplay! I've also added a button on the menu to reset your progress should your save data ever corrupt (negative coin count etc).

In the next release or two, I will be launching a contest for the best level designs! There will be cash and game prizes for the top 3, and the top 15 or so will have their levels featured in the game! I want to make sure I have a stable release I'm happy with first, because the level data .json files will cause conflicts with newer game versions. I'll have a thread on NG set up at that time, so stay tuned! In the meantime, feel free to share your recorded video clips!

See you in the next update!
