Didn't realize it was a loop, so I listened to this for an hour or so lmao. Very nice job! Happy belated birthday :D

Noisysundae responds:

Hey! It's been a long time. Thanks so much Larry!

Aw heck, this is gold. I'm not even gonna make anything for pixel day anymore.

ChronoNomad responds:

Well, shoot...thank you very much for such an incredible compliment, but--c'mon! Don't deprive the world of a larrynachos original Pixel Day track! The more the merrier, don'cha know. :D

Congrats on the front page, Jordi! It's definitely well deserved. This is great stuff!

etherealwinds responds:

Aw thanks!! Good to see you around Logan :)

Oh wow, I finally finished it. That was a long and interesting song! I didn't much care for the noisy part at 13:00-14:12, but I don't think it really does any disservice to the rest of the song. You do an excellent job at making ambient music! I wish I could do this kind of techno ambience.

Keep up the good work! Are you going to be composing anything for Pixel Day?

Cacola responds:

Thanks! The noise section is definitely something you need to have an acquired taste for, but I felt the song needed a section that was just kinda formless and hazy, if that makes since.

Electronic ambient stuff is a lot of fun to make! It takes a bit of practice, just like any other genre, but once you get good at it, making it can be even more relaxing then listening to it.

Ooh damn, this is banging!

Love that bit at 0:47 :D

TeraVex responds:

Thanks man!

Simple instruments, but great melody and structure!

erenik responds:

Thanks! Always thought the same! :D
Would just need to maybe adjust the volume/intensity of some of the notes/occassions, but decent beside that

Never stop being amazing.

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

I say the same to you :D

Beautiful! I really like it :) Keep up the good work!

LawnReality responds:

Thanks! Happy you like it! :)

Again, too quiet. Cranking the volume down doesn't give the song a sense of calm and controlled. For that, you need to tweak the velocities of each note.

The melody and structure on this one are worse than the last one. Notes seem scatterbrained and meaningless. Whatever kind of sensation you were attempting to inspire into the listener is lost on me, and I think lost on many others.

Keep improving!

NiborBobbin responds:

This is an interesting review but there are some notes that you have made which are unusual.

Firstly, too quite? I think you may have either controls on your computer/browser that are affecting the output. This song plays well on multiple speakers and headphones so too quite is a very poor reason to review a song poorly.

Secondly the melody and structure are scatterbrained and meaningless? I have tried uploading an improved version of this song with no success. But going back, this music uses the same style as mozart and bach so unless they too are meaningless then you have no ability to understand how music like this is composed.

I will keep improving my own compositions but you too need to improve your ability to review a piece of music. Just because I give a low rating for others work does not mean that you should feel obliged to put my own work down unless you have some real tangible points.

I make games and music sometimes
