The ambient plucks at 2:49 are my favorite. Umf <3

Will probably always be my favorite song from you.

...Unless our Endgame tracks are phenomenal.

This is kind of an odd combination, using dance drums and fl goddamned slayer to create djent music. Interesting nonetheless. The bends sounded off though. given that the majority of the notes were 0s (not on a fret), you wouldn't be able to slide from 0 to 1 unless you pressed down on the strings above the neck ridge. Also, if you were using 2 notes, switching only the lower string to 1 while keeping the second string a 0 would have produced a much more desirable effect.

Jesus this is intense. LiquidOoze did a good job with the kick sample. You should make more like this o.o

Oh geez, this is amazing! Very ambient and "big". I like it a lot! ^^

The intro was pretty interesting, although the beeps were kinda annoying after a while. I can pick out a few Nexus2 synths in this song lol.

Doesn't really sound like a cinematic song to me (the beat is still EDM), but to each his own. I like this song!

Felocai responds:

You're right, there are some nexus sequences in this song.
I'm glad you like it :3

Hmm, I'm not sure about this song lol. It didn't sound very appealing until like 1:36. The percussion was kinda rough and "in your face", but other than that, this was a pretty interesting song!

You should post the lyrics in the description though. I can't understand any of it!

sleepFacingWest responds:

The percussion is part of the ham-fistedness. The lyrics are the other part. I typically like more layers in meaning, but I couldn't make this one go. Regardless:

Hello my friend
It's me again

Home is where you are
Lay down the public mask
Tug the strings of my heart
Spark the powder cask

Detonate the space
Where the haustorium grow
Sweetgrass cedar and sage
Let all the villains go

Put the headphones on again
Play my favorite song
Turn the world off with a switch
This is where I belong

Despite the ways I try
I'll never be the one
To understand goodbyes
When we were still having fun

Listen to your bliss
The sound will take you home
Vibrating bits of air
This is the world I know

I guess this is goodbye
We stopped before we left the ground
You'll never be my fondest heartache
'Cause between the two of you I choose sound

I wasn't a fan of the intro (it looks sick with the visualizer though), but at 1:30 things got really damned interesting!

The glitchy parts were really hit or miss for me. Sometimes my brain is like "yeee I love it", but other times it's like "yo I think there's something wrong"

Aside from those two things, this song was incredible!

Noisysundae responds:

First, thank you again for the review. :)
Aha, that means my fake crowd cheer noise does its job well. XD
I used 3xosc for the base noise, full resonance band pass filter on mids (I used Fruity parametric EQ 2), and an uber reverb! It sounds good only in the background of other instruments for me though.
On the glitches, that "yo I think there's something wrong" vibe is what I expect from you when you play it on the visualizer. I intentionally freezed it.
