Wow, this sounds amazing! I would love to hear you remake this using better samples after the contest :D

Aw, thank you! I hadn't really been thinking about doing that before now, but I just might. I've been rebuilding my instrument library since a particularly devastating computer crash, so this was a really great chance to cut my teeth on some new samples. Who doesn't love a good challenge? Thanks again for the review and all those pretty little stars! ^___^
I really didn't expect that filter to stay the whole time. The lack of a solid bass definitely kills the track. This track had a lot of potential and would be really good if you had transitioned from the high pass filter into something big and roomy. I can see what you were going for though.
+ Excellent melody, structure, and progression
- EQing falls flat on it's face lmao
Thanks for the review, Larrynachos! :) I totally agree about the high pass filter. I mentioned in the description that I was trying to follow the mixing advice of Johnfn, but I took it way too far. I appreciate your compliments on my melodies, structure, and progression, though. Thanks again! ^^
This song has a unique blend of instruments. I really liked it!
I was going for weird so i'm glad you liked it =P

The piano is a bit flat, and it gets buried underneath the bass. The progression is kind of predictable, but it still has a uniqueness to it.
Yee, this is really nice- NOO DON'T FADE OUT AHHHHH
5/5 ^^

The progression was confusing, but I enjoyed the mixing. Good work!
This song was an adventure to listen to. I loved every second of it! This is a goddamned masterpiece!
Thanks dude! Glad it turned out well.

I'm not usually a fan of slow, dark, ambient rock, but this sounds really good!
I make games and music sometimes
