Didn't expect to see this on Newgrounds! Awesome work Kenney!

The art and presentation is good! I just think it's lacking something.

For the high score, you should have had a persistent value, so every tap posts 1 to an incremental scoreboard. That way, you could retrieve that same value when the user plays again. I did a thousand then backed out to check the scoreboard, but when I hopped back in I started back at 0.

Also, it's literally just a clicker. I don't understand the diff between the sandwich and pico head, I tapped both of them a few hundred times. There's no auto click or idle features to make the game replayable at all, the scoreboard and 69k medal belong to the people with clicker software and the most patience.

So basically: cute and pointless, with some technical issues and a lack of variety.

I REEEALLY wanna see those piconjo emotes in the forum though, send em to Tom or something :)

Just-a-ng-dummy responds:

Haha yeah

I think I am able to make a save feature or somethin, I never really tried it before, maybe tutorials will help out

The sandwich and pico head are just for visual diff

Also "Cute and Pointless" is a great way to describe the game lol

What can I say, I fed the man some cheese!

I love the simplicity of it, the pixel art and glitchy audio created a kinda creepy atmosphere that I enjoyed. No medals or scoreboards, which makes me sad :( I beat the game though.

Nice work!

poopy poopy fart haha

IT NEVER ENDS TELL MY CATS I LOVE THEM

Such a great game! Step and Slick never miss! Great art and music from Connor, spaz and Yuri as well! I think I suck at it though, I could only get past 5 stages. It's still really great! Good luck in the opera jam!

You should check your api calls, my scores post multiple times and I'm worried it'll fill my list and I'll have to get my scores wiped if I want to beat my high score.

Great work! Love yall!

This game is really something lmao xD Lots of different game modes and mechanics. Very strange, not at all coherent (but I'm assuming that was the point).

Can't find medals 3, 5, 8, 9, and 16 ;-;

AHAHAHA YESSSS this game is so much fun to play! It's super intense, I was scared I wouldn't be able to get all the medals but I finally did! It's a shame you didn't get the level editor working, but this game is perfect as-is! Let's work together again sometime!

I love the creepy, glitchy aesthetic of the art! Not sure rock music was the best choice for a game as dark as this, I feel like you would have set the atmosphere better if you had used songs from my @cx330 alias, I do somber ambient music which I think would have set the proper mood.

Great experience though! Hope to see more games from you in the future! If you ever need music, or want me to do the programming so you can just focus on art, let me know! I'm always down to do more projects!

MoeAnguish responds:

Thanks, i'm happy you like it! but damn, i wish i knew about your other alias. oh well, maybe by next time i'll use some of the music you made under it.

And thanks for the offer! i'll very likely need your music again if it feels like a perfect fit for the projects i have, just like this one.

This game was a lot of fun! The voice lines made me laugh, it's neat to see my NG pals in a game! I love the 2d billboard style, and I'm always a fan of open worlds, although the level design here made me want to rip my hair out lol (hard to find my way around, and open chests look like regular chests from a distance aaaa).

I would like to see a sequel with a pixel city to explore, interiors and outskirts, stunt jumps and easter eggs, the whole nine yards.

Also, I like how the bike sound at max speed matches the music <3 And it was HILARIOUS when the commissioned artists ascended into the heavens xD

Incredible work! I'd love to see you make more games with this "engine" ^-^ Keep it up Pluf!

plufmot responds:

Ahaha yeah the level design was interesting. It was my first time using Unity's terrain system and I did an all nighter before class to learn it + sculpt the whole freaking world. It took like 10 hours and I ended up rocking up to class very dusty lol.

I make games and music sometimes
