The drums are fine, I don't see why everyone else doesn't like them.

The vocals are ehh, but english vocaloids were never that great. My only issue is that at 1:37 the vocals get too loud in the mix. Other than that, this entire song is fantastic!

steampianist responds:

Nah only the japanese-english ones. Though I gotta say gumi english is clearer than miku english
Anyway thanks for the review

I really enjoy the piano melody, and the synths were fantastic, but the drums feel a bit off. Maybe it's a mixing thing, or maybe you just need better samples. Keep up the good work!

Back-From-Purgatory responds:

I was trying to give the drums a bit more punch, because a lot of my songs are pretty lacking in that department. I agree it might sound a little out of place in a song of this type, at least in certain sections of it.

But... at least they're punchier, right?... Right..?

Oh man this song is sweet. It sounds familiar, but I can't figure out from what >.<

DESHIEL responds:

its familiar cuz its from my head silly :)

I don't think ez drummer is the problem. The eq is off a little. the kick isn't deep enough, and the cymbals cut off prematurely. I would definitely find a different instrument for the brass, because it doesn't seem to fit. It sounds like a french horn, but it's way to low, and it sounds like it's trying too hard to be the bass.

For the official release (on the bandcamp page):

The drums are really quiet. The brass is still a bit out of place, and the strings began to falter at around 2 minutes. The guitars are great, though, and that piano at the end was simply beautiful. A really sweet track, with a few mastering issues. ^^

Back-From-Purgatory responds:

Mixing/mastering is a constant struggle for me, I will admit, it's the biggest area I'm trying to improve in right now.

Thanks for the review.

Ah geez, you only 4 fans? This stuff is awesome!

OmegaP responds:

Ha ha, five now, thanks to you!

Ooooh man, I can't wait!

Yo, when are you planning on releasing the album? My bday's coming up, so I could probably buy it.

Cacola responds:

No release date yet, but hopefully I'll get it out by your birthday.
(BTW, I'm so sorry I wasn't able to buy your album, I just wasn't able to pay for it since my mom wouldn't put her credit card information in)

It loops so perfectly that I didn't even notice. Fantastic job!

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Thanks! It took a while, but I've learned how to make loops pretty difficult to notice :D

Ooh, the beat is pretty sick, and the leads were like sex for my ears. Well done, dude!

Insanctuary responds:

How did you come across this song? Very lucky indeed.

Aw yeah, this sounds an awful lot like Fette's Vette. Mc Chris is a nerd rapper. Been a while since I listened to his stuff :P

This track is friggin awesome, btw.

DESHIEL responds:

I did listen to that track. The intro is NEARLY identical and he probably uses the same bell sound as I do...So I guess that he to is a fruity loops user. :D

Thanks for the review nevertheless. :D

Ooh, I'm feeling that beat, bass, and melody! This song is sick!

oswald responds:

Thanks man! I was worried people wouldn't like it, but you're bringing my hopes up. :)

I make games and music sometimes
