This puts my dnb NIM track to shame :(

Don't underestimate yourself, Larry. You still have the flp and samples used with it right? Go back and improve its quality. The melodies in that track are actually perfect for me!
Here are a few suggestions.
- Try using stereo separation and/or phase offset on that crash. I only use the Fruity stereo enhancer to deal with those things.
- Listen to your track on a regular headphones/earphones too if you used a pair headphones with powerful bass to do your music. Most people use a cheap earphone/speaker to listen to our music and they all can't hear the bass that much so the track might be different. :/
I'll edit this if I can get more of my tips for you.
I recognize that guitar rig preset lol XD
haha right on larry, good ears.
Oh geez, this feels good to listen to! The stereo sound definitely adds to the experience :D
Thanks, man.
The thing sounded too thin in mono, so I did a bit of Audacity magic, and this is the result.
Nothing quite like a caffeine high to help write music.
You make great ambient music :D
good to know ;)

This is pretty good! Try changing the velocities for each piano note. It'll sound less flat that way. I liked the progression, but I felt that it was a little too repetitive.
Nice job!

I'm having trouble figuring out what key you're working in. You should have had a bassline to define it. The instruments are kind of odd, but not in a bad way.
Also, I found the percussion annoying. The kick doesn't really fit, and it's all a bit too loud.
Hey!
Thanks for the response. I agree with you, I'm not really sure what direction the song is going in either. I'm just going by what I hear and if it sounds fine just going with it, which shouldn't be the case. Still trying to learn Music theory and such.
But anyways, thanks for the response and for the tips! Still trying to improve.

This is really good! I felt the kick was a little too big, and you should try adjusting the velocities for the piano notes. Other than that, I really like it :)
Great tips, thanks man! :D
20 seconds in and this is already in my favorites list.
God this is so beautiful. I went and listened to the original, and I just can't pick a favorite! You both have lovely voices haha ><
I'm glad that you're back, dude :)
You're too kiiiind. She really has a beautiful voice! I didn't want to compete, so I changed things up a little :)
Missed ya!
I make games and music sometimes
