This is a great track! I think my only critiques were that it remains the same loudness/energy level the whole time, and the vocals are a little buried. Good luck!

+ loud bombastic sounds, intense energy throughout that changes pace very quickly!

- could have used a few more low points in the middle section to give the intensity time to die down so it doesn't stagnate. When you keep a song at the same intensity for too long, the perceived intensity begins to wear off.

Great track overall, I really enjoyed it!

This song is both the anguish I feel when waking up covered in sweat on a 95 degree day as well as the relief I feel when it cools down in the evening. Great work!

Beautiful track! I wish there was some variety in the bass. I recognize that melody in the final section, from a blank banshee song or something. Fit very well!

is this fucking PENIS MUSIC xD

Pretty funky, gives me warioware vibes. I would have done a little more to the dynamics to keep it from sounding like a brick wall the whole time. I like the lead near the end but it definitely suffocates the rest of the elements.

If you're slapping fruity limiter on the end of the effect rack, DON'T. Try fruity soft clipper.

thank you so much for these pointers. i will apply them in the future!

+ Love the atmosphere and the beat!

- Not a whole lot of variety, I feel like this needed a middle section to shake things up and a louder finale.

Great track! 8/10

The sound choice is nice, but that bassline steered the whole song off course. The D# to C made sense, but then jumping up to F and returning to the D# early completely threw off the energy. I feel like D# to C down to G# and then up to like A# would have given you that sort of "love song" ballad energy this track would have really been a vibe with. Also having 2 bass patterns playing clashing notes is interesting but ultimately just causes more dissonance and confusion

the first actually constructive review i've ever received that analyzes a track of mine

this isn't really the song im particularly the happiest with as i've produced much better songs, i was really just trying to capture that anxious sort of feel when there is a girl you like and you're just afraid to tell her. however i believe that idea could have executed way better.

however now that you have pointed it out i know i should have made the bass line better and im glad u pointed it out and why it was a bad bassline.

if you have anymore questions or critiques then by all means ask away as i will try to listen to them as best as possible..

+ I love ambient dnb, I love the sounds you used and I'm happy you have some variety in your song's progression

- The last minute lacked the climax I'd expected for a final section. The second section had me pumped, I was hoping you'd finish strong by cranking up the processing on the pads and bass, maybe slice up the drum samples to make them more intense

+ Hard hitting, gritty basses and tasty drums

- sound selection lacks variety, some drum samples seem to be quieter than they should be in certain parts, and sometimes the sidechain doesn't seem to be there when it should be

I think the greatest injustice was opening with a wide reverby space and then going completely dry for most of the drop. The energy is completely inverted, I feel like it should have started off dry then expanded into the wet space. It does start to improve when more layers are added, the energy picks up around 1:13. The bit at 1:35 made me laugh cause it sounds like a warioware or warioworld song xD I like the second section too, as well as the outro!

I wish there was more variation in the sound choice, the lead wears on me after a while which was why I was so relieved when the second section got that guitar bit. The space between the first and second sections sounded really uninspired, you could have thrown a simple dnb break in there and it would have been far more engaging.

Nice track! It's intense, but because it stays at the same level the whole time still feels a little stagnant. Try to shake it up a little! Put me on an emotional rollercoaster!
