Impressive track! I really enjoyed the energy in this piece. I feel like the percussion at 2:08 could have used a little love (sounds kinda plain), but other than that there isn't much I can pick at. Great job, and keep it up!

ColinMuir responds:

haha thank you, yeah i wanted the pad lead to be extenuated though, sometimes a drummer needs to match the song, and that's what i felt :)

Oh wow, this is astonishing work Jordi! I think you definitely have a shot at first place this year if you keep this up :D Such incredible vocals <3

etherealwinds responds:

Thank you very much! You know, I only realised you'd changed your name the other week... I thought you were i0ta hahaha <3

I really do love the liveliness in this track, from the sudden changes in mood to the articulate dynamics from the instruments. A regular person probably would never think they were vsts. I think the cymbal crashes could have been a little more present in the mix, but that's just me. Great song!

Very intense track! I feel like the percussion could have been a little louder, and the strings could have been stereo panned to give the track some more space, but that's just my opinion lol. Great song!

Incredible! I love the choice of instruments in this piece! So bouncy and uplifting, yet there's a hint of mystery in it! Great work :)

I initially thought this was like a Final Fantasy thing or something, but wow this is a really chill piece! Crazy aesthetic vibes through the whole track! Beautiful work, keep it up!

Wow, such an incredible blend of genres! I would love to hear more synthwave from you. <3 KEEP IT UP

This is beautiful and intense! Your compositions never fail to make me shiver.

Bosa responds:

Thank you! I know I can always count on your encouraging feedback!

Oh woa, this is trippy! You should do some tutorials on how you synthesize your instruments & growl basses. I've been getting into making my own sounds, but I can't really do growls right.

love this love you. Keep it up :)

Quarl responds:

You're not the first to ask about my synths. I've debated doing a tutorial but I always do things in an improv & unstructured way to avoid making the process stale.

Usually I make a big atonal synth out of two or more ocilators using sawtooth + squarewaves. Then I add a ton of distortion. Ill knob twist and change oscillators until the synth sounds like total crap. Then I just filter the synth randomly with automation.

Then I do the same thing again so I have a second synth that sounds different but is also total shit. At this point I delete my song file and start over again becuase everything sounds like shit

I make games and music sometimes
