The intro was hella weak. Wish you would have done something different. It did get much better at around 0:25. Keep up the great work!

I'm a sucker for orchestral music, haha. Not sure how I feel about the subtle techno tint, but whatever :D

I really enjoyed the chord progression, but the mixing does leave much to be desired. Keep up the good work! ^-^

Hmm, not sure about the percussion. There's a high pitched "tick" sound that is just obnoxious.

Other than that, I can't really complain about anything. 4.5/5; 9/10.

Oh man, I'm loving this track! The beat is pretty sick, and the melody fits nicely ^^

Felocai responds:

Thank you!

The intro was a bit confusing for me, but as soon as the lyrics came in, it became clear how the progression was structured.

A very chill song. Keep up the good work :)

SoulSecure responds:

I'm going to flat out admit that before I had listened to that keyboard riff a couple hundred times, the opening with no other instruments confused me as well and I almost didn't start it that way.

It's a real brain disruptor without any complimenting instruments. Even though I wrote it. >.>

Thanks for the review!

Oh man, this is a great track! The instruments blend together and fill the song nicely (something most of my songs lack, for some reason XD). A bit short, but other than that, 10/10 ^^

sleepFacingWest responds:

Thanks! It's a bit on the sort side as it's supposed to be a loop and can run as long as the person needs. Also, I wrote it as a demo. I realized I didn't have any heroic brass choir work in my portfolio and decided to write some just to prove to possible future collaborators and clients that I was capable. As far as the blending goes, compression and eq are your friend. Try to separate instruments by allowing them to sit in their own frequency space. Subtle manipulations often work nicely, and it's always better to cut than to boost. I've listened to your tracks and will write more about production in a review of one of your own songs.

Thanks for listening!

This would have been a fantastic dnb song if you had sped it up and elaborated on the drums more.

As it is, 4/5. The mixing is pretty standard, and the melody is original and somewhat refreshing.

Maddus responds:

Thank you! this review helps alot, you gave me what I wanted to know. I hope you could have some free time to review and check out my other songs too,.. Also thanks for an honest rating.

The increase in volume at 0:07 led me to believe that there would be a drop right then and there. I was disappointed when nothing actually happened. Heartbroken, really. 0:00-0:07 had me hyped, but then nothing happened. It just got really loud and annoying.

The rest of the song isn't really anything interesting. The wobbles were nice, I suppose, but it's too damn loud.

(Also, for future reference, don't make a useless thread asking for reviews. There are plenty of public audio advertisement threads)

Pretty interesting! I liked the percussion :D

Flaytic responds:

I tried accentuating the percussion, looks like it works! Thanks!

I make games and music sometimes
