Good to hear from you again, Solfias! I was worried you had disappeared ;-; It would be a shame if you joined the group of great inactive NG musicians. Great song, by the way! You definitely haven't lost your edge :D

Ha, next you'll be telling me that the clipping is a "stylistic choice".

TheBetterAudioPortal responds:

It absolutely is a stylistic choice.

Wooa dude, this is so trippy! The mixture of chiptune and ambience, plus the whole chaotic nature of this piece makes it so amazing! This song was an experience start to finish. Great job!

SucoVidya responds:

I was supposed to try and make something Star Wars themed in time for the Battlefront beta. Nope, not even close baby! haha.

I went through and read the interviews you mentioned again, and I listened to some of the songs mentioned in it. This one has to be by far one of my favorites. It has an upbeat feeling, mixed in with a little bit of melancholy. That's a blend I've only ever heard done well in a lot of Steve Jablonsky's work. Simply beautiful! I'm in envy of your music composition skills.

If you still remember, could you tell me what vsts/sample libraries you used? Especially for the strings. Those strings gave me chills!

Troisnyx responds:

If I remember correctly, everything in this piece was a soundfont. The piano was Gallahaut's Steinway SF2, the first piano soundfont I relied on. The strings are from the Touhou SF, which is really a set of sounds from a Panasonic keyboard that Zun used to make the OST for his games. The chimes also come from the Touhou SF, though I'd do them a bit naturally today.

Sorry it took me ages to reply; I only saw this review today. I really should keep on top of things. Thanks for listening, meep!

The lead was a bit harsh on my ears, but overall this piece is beautiful! You're definitely one of my favorite musicians here on NG!

Yoshiii343 responds:

Dude. Duuuude. I'm honoured.

Damn, I wish I could make music this upbeat and happy :D

Teckmo-X responds:

Well it wasn't hard at all really :3 I just used mainly the GMS and PoiZone plugins. If your having trouble try making up a lead first or if you find it better try finding a rhythm. I know you can do it, I believe;)

Again, you leave me speechless. This is a beautiful piece, Bosa! Please keep up the fantastic work!

Bosa responds:

I always appreciate your reviews. Thank you very much for the support you've shown me. I don't have much time to make music because I am teaching elementary kids, but I hope to write some more stuff soon.

I make games and music sometimes
