Those are some pretty intense hairstyles! You've done a great job at giving them depth :D

I like your style, keep it up!

I've seen this on facebook a couple times and it always hits me in my feels. Didn't know you were on Newgrounds though!

Very good work! I've yet to succeed with a good looking cloth simulation :/

Bertn1991 responds:

Thank you Larry. I definitely had to watch a few tutorials on cloth physics myself. It's a little tricky ^_^'

Used to get these all the time at long john silvers.

Very well done! I thought these were 3d at first!

Bertn1991 responds:

Thanks ^.^

Also, you have fine taste.

Very nice, I like the staggered shading on the character!

Have you experimented with animating pixel art, for videos or maybe to use as game assets?

IrisOfTheRepliforce responds:

Thank you very much ^_^

I have before, and have been offered by friends and others to work on their projects as well, however I did not accept. I have ideas for my own MMX fan game for myself, however I do not intend to ever finish or publish it fully ^.^ Thank you for visiting my page

aw ye tiddies

These are stunning! How do you manage this level of artistry in POWERPOINT o.o

Troisnyx responds:

I'm happy to share the trade tricks if it means anyone can try it too:

1) You need a tablet plugged in BEFORE opening the program first and foremost, in order to activate the Draw function.

2) Ink colours are selected in a similar manner to Paint, RGB rather than Hue / Sat / Lum.

3) Same deal with any other software, I start with a structure, export that as PNG, copy it, reduce opacity, draw over it, remove structure, save outlines as PNG, colour layers, lasso select, save each layer as PNG, reduce opacity again, send certain layers to back, and rinse and repeat as much as needed until we get this result.

I'll admit that it's a bit of a roundabout way to do this, and there's no colour blending tool, but it works fine otherwise.

This piece is a feast for the eyes. Beautiful colors, the cats and people look incredible. I feel like I could stare at this until I've immersed myself in its universe.

Keep up the amazing work!

I make games and music sometimes
