I'm dead.
I thought I was gonna make a comeback this week, but no inspiration hit me, so I'm ending the week empty handed. I really want to make another vocaloid song, but I just cannot come up with any good tunes.

Eckh, so this week has mainly consisted of me trying to record my guitar to my computer. As most of you know, I'm pretty darn young, so most of my content is created with low-level equipment and software. For a few months, I was making music with the trial of fl studio 10 (where I couldn't save, so all my songs were rushed. My laptop was a tiny little netbook, so lag was inevitable. I recently upgraded to a better laptop, so I guess I can't complain now.
For playing rock/metal, I have a b.c. rich warlock, a small Drive amp, and an Uber metal distortion pedal. I have two options when recording: place my microphone (just the one that came with guitar hero: warriors of rock) next to the amp and play. This method is difficult because I'm not allowed to play very loud, and the mic quality is horrible. The second option is to route my guitar directly to the computer via a rocksmith cable. I replace the cord that would normally go from the pedal to the amp with the rs usb cable, then plug it into my computer. This one is also poor, because I can't hear myself playing the guitar because it's not plugged into an amp. To hear it, I have to change some audio card settings, and it's a pain in the butt. The final product is never pretty, either.
I vlog and make sketches with a ridiculously shitty Samsung camera. It claims to record in HD, but every video is terrible when I put it on the computer. I also have a webcam, but, as most webcams, it's terrible.
I used to animate with a small crappy wacom tablet, but it broke, so now I kinda can't animate.
Some other mentionable software:
- Vocaloid 3 (I'm terrible at it, though).
- AVS video editor (exports terribly)
- Construct 2 (html games)
- Stencyl (flash games. Have yet to release a finished flash game)
- Adobe flash cs5.5
- Fraps (for recording gameplay)
I think that's everything. Not sure the point of this post. Maybe someone could show me the "next upgrade" to any of these, so I can save up money accordingly.

I've decided that "procrastinating" just adds more stress to my life, so I've decided to just take a small vacation.
I have Monday off, so I'll release the ben drowned test/beta/demo then, along with a song and a sketch video.
Sorry about all this. I'll try to be better in the future!

Ok, this is going to take longer than I thought. I've been really ill these past few weeks, and whatever I have isn't going away, so I might have to go see a doctor. Until then, I thought I'd give a few awesome individuals the "beta" of ben drowned (by beta I mean INCOMPLETED). I'll post a link in the forums for everyone to see on Halloween, but until then, if you want what I have so far, just comment or message me.
Like I said, I've been ill, and everything is a bit wonky, and the game is really bad right now, so please message me a full bug report and review after playing it.
Who wants teh beta?

Okay, guys....
I need to know if you would be completely devastated if I had to delay Ben Drowned for a little bit. The thing is, my teachers decided that THIS was the week to throw all of the difficult homework at me, so I have barely any time to develop.
I don't have school next monday, so I think I can probably do some hardcore developing over the weekend and release it then.
What do you think?

WOO HOOOOOOOOO!
I just got me some store credit from the latest game jam, and I finally got to buy stuff!
=====================
Other then that, there's really nothing going on. I've been procrastinating on "Ben Drowned: The Game" for a few days. I think I'm gonna try to work on it a lot today, I dunno yet. I haven't been composing, and I don't think I'll be releasing anything for a few weeks. Sorry :/

So my friend told me to faceswap a lady and her salad, and this was birthed...

So, because I couldn't think of any musical riffs for Halloween, I've decided to make a game based on one of my favorite creepypastas: Ben Drowned.
I'm working in Rpg maker vx ace, so sadly, I can't embed the game onto newgrounds, but I'll make sure to share it with all of you in some format!
Here's the trailer I made with what I have so far:

I hope I can get a lot of moral support! I've been giving up on a lot of good projects recently :P

Hello! Today, I just reached 20 fans! I'm really happy, even though this is a small achievement.
As a reward, I want to make something for you. A little "Thank you" gift. A game, a song, an animation, anything, guys.
Let me know if you want me to make you something, and I'll gladly do it!
Love ya, newgrounds!

If you haven't noticed already, I just released another game revolving within the puzzle jumper series. It isn't really a full game, so you could call it a mini-game, but it's just to keep you on your toes until I bring out pjv3.
No screenshots from puzzle jumper v3 for you yet, but here's the thumbnail.
Cheers!
