Frick, I was hoping you wouldn't be on your A game for the NGAUC. Makes me wish I had spent longer EQing mine, because you did a really great job with the mixing. And it's just a really cool-ass song in general. Good luck!

Ffs, I apparently haven't been keeping up with my favorite artists, because this one completely passed me by.

First off, while I'm not against long tones, the one you used was just loud enough to be annoying, and the frequency was JUST barely enough to bug me. Replace it with a soothing saw, and you'd have a perfect track!

That said, this is a very good track! The tone does create an unsettling atmosphere. I really like it :D

[Robot Junkyard]

The percussion is what does it for me. They really immerse me into the track. I see a tired robot sitting down amongst his rusting people of the past, giving up on existence and shutting down forever. Really great job with this track! You should explore this experimental side of you some more :D

It's cool to hear that you like the percussion, even if I'm sure it could be more prominent/balanced differently in the track, at least mixwise :p
That's an interesting interpretation, which fits quite well :D
I do explore my experimental side every now and then, when I get time and inspiration, so I will definitely do so more in the future too :)

Very solid submission to the AIMC! The mixing doesn't really bother me. Sounds like a song I'd put on while I work or read. Calming, but energizing all the same. Keep up the good work!
