Sure thing, hope they're useful! Ejay's a bit unprofessional though, might want to skip that if you don't just want to play around with pre-made grooves. :)

Yeah, I took a look at it, and it's not my style. But the BSR screen recorder is fantastic! Thanks for showing me it! I'm gonna start recording audio tutorials now :D
Woo, glad to hear it! I went through 20-30 different programs before I found it, looking for something that could record gameplay footage for Oni. It's one of a kind. :)
It's easy to use, but the quality is terrible XD
The quality depends on which video codec/compression you use though. :) I'm on a not-so-powerful computer so I'm using ffdshow with 85% quality, which works for me. If I had a more powerful box I'd ho with h263 or x264 though, or Xvid, which looks just as good but doesn't have as good compression. RAW is best of course but that takes up an insane amount of space, we're talking at least a hundred MBs/second. It's all configurable. :) Also, FPS is an important option, games look better with a higher number, for other things it doesn't really matter.

No idea about music software (I've been using Audacity for editing vocals, ejay & FL Studio for everything else), but as for video editing avidemux is great, also open-source. It's aimed more at power users though, perfect for cuttong and converting files, not so great if you want lots of effects and cool transitions. Also, I use BSR Screen Recorder for all recording-purposes, if you run into a game that Fraps doesn't support (for same games it just lags hellishly) that's a great alternative. Not free though. Good luck with that!

Thanks man! I'll check out some of those softwares.
