1.) Zombie Guard, OMG ZOMBIES, Fence The Dead, Dead Def... yeah my inspiration isn't running at full steam today.
2.) Definitely, maybe with a limited amount of available calls throughout each level? As long as you can actually completely levels without backup, that would be a nice feature.
3.) Upgradeable equipment, option to change color of blood and a BFG100 secret. :)

i've finished scripting the AI bots. at the beginning of each level, you get 1 bot partner (who doesn't live very long, i'm afraid), and each wave earns you 1 bot, which you can use at any time.
upgradeable equipment will come later, because i'll have to figure out the scripts for it.
also, i think Dead Defense sounds good :D
